Enigmatic.. I think that is the first word to use in this particular Palace.
Sintra is a small village close to the capital of Portugal, Lisbon, as we Portuguese call it Lisboa. For centuries this village has attracted travelers, poets, witches, nobles, kings and other curious people, that mainly just came after the words that so well describe Sintra, enchanted, beautiful, royal, lush and mysterious.
On this day we departed from Lisbon in a nice Mercedes Benz Mini van, and start our journey.
This is no ordinary day, because Sintra is in fact a different place, loved by it's weather, and also for the secrets that hides in the woods!
Many centuries ago, the Celtics were in the region and Sintra became one the places to worship the pagan Gods. As well as the Moors that invaded the Iberian Peninsula and stayed for many centuries in Portugal and Spain, left their "foot print" in Sintra.
